Garage Door Repairs, Installation & Motors in Coorparoo
Coorparoo is one of the inner south-east suburbs we reach quickly. Work here ranges from single-door repairs at home to openers that have reached the end of their life after years of daily cycling. A Coorparoo door on a commuting household can be lifted and lowered four or more times a day, which is what wears springs and drive gears out.
Opener and automation work in Coorparoo
Openers fail in recognisable ways. A motor that runs but the door does not move usually means a stripped drive gear or a disengaged trolley. A door that starts up and reverses straight away is normally a force or travel setting, an obstruction in the track, or a safety beam out of alignment. A remote that works up close but not from the street is often a flat battery or a failing receiver.
We diagnose before replacing, because a working door with a tired opener is a much smaller job than a full replacement. Where the motor does need to go, we fit the new unit, set travel and force limits, pair the remotes and check the safety reverse.
Repairs and servicing
Springs, cables, rollers, tracks, hinges and locks are all serviceable items. Regular use plus Brisbane humidity will eventually take the smoothness out of a door. A service visit re-tensions, lubricates and realigns before something breaks at the worst time. Repairs are guaranteed for 12 months.
Replacement doors
When a Coorparoo door is past economic repair we measure the opening and quote replacement options, including sectional overhead and tilt doors. The measure and quote are free.
