Repair or replace?
Not every failed shutter is worth repairing, and not every damaged one needs replacing. Impact damage confined to a few slats is usually a repair. A curtain that has distorted over years of forcing, or a shutter where the guides, drum and motor are all worn together, can reach the point where replacement is the more economical answer.
We give you both numbers. If a repair will hold for years, we say so; if a replacement is the honest answer, we quote that instead and leave the decision with you.
